user reviews of Robbies Bar, Leith

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Maybe we caught it on a bad day but there were only two blonde ales on when we looked in. It would not have mattered even if there had been more and better beer on offer; I found it a grim little pub littered with wheezing coffin dodgers who leered openly at the young woman in our company. Barmaid very pleasant, though.

Couldn't agree more - it is the best pub on Leith Walk. A great selection of beers, and always guest whiskys on at decent prices. Loadsafootball. Always busy.

Best pub in the Walk by a mile. If your not a Leither best not venturing too far down the walk anyway!

Good beer and great mix of people. If staying in East Edinburgh get off the beaten track and pop in here for a few swallies

This is a great wee bar, great real ales, big flatcreens tv's for footie and no jukebox so ideal for talking which is exactly what happens, I've never seen it empty and on days when Hibs play at home its packed out, if your ever visiting Edinburgh I'd recommend a visit to this legendary institution!
