Wow, it's been a while since I last came here and what a difference! Seems to have been taken over by someone who actually cares. Nice decor and furniture, friendly staff and what looks like some tasty food coming out the kitchen, although didnt have time to sample it...next time!

I visited at lunchtime yesterday and was very impressed, the new refurbishment has reinvigorated this tired old pub, this is exactly what porthtowan needs .
I didn't eat but the meals I saw coming out of the kitchen all looked fresh and delicious

I will definitely be back

This pub finally has some owners who have given it a new lease of life. Quirky interior and a great menu do its fabulous location justice. The have accommodation on the way and will do hires for weddings etc. This place will become a real gem
