user reviews of Bridge Inn, Offenham

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I voted this as my pub of the day out of 10 we tried in Worcestershire on a Friday. This may have something to do with them serving Thatchers Heritage cider. There were also 2 real ales - Cottage Southern Bitter and Wye Valley The Bridge's Best Bitter. The locals were a bit noisy and this wasn't particularly helped by the arrival of a coach party. But the setting next to the River Avon is particularly pleasant and there are many tables to enjoy a pint or two overlooking the river. Inside is a modern public bar and games room to the left and a dining area to the right. Watching the coach trying to reverse back up the narrow lane was quite amusing. This certainly isn't a pub you're liable to stumble upon on chance. But it's certainly worth a visit if you know it's here.

We hadn't moored up here since the he floods of 2007, which have a lot to answer for, this is still a great pub with two main inside areas, bar with pool table and separate dining area.

In pre flood time this used to have an 'olde world' charm, but the necessary referb has taken on a modern bistro dining area, very well finished and clean.

The beer was brewed for the pub by Wye Valley, good clean tasty pint. Food was good quality and reasonably priced and all the staff encountered were friendly.

Great location against the bank of the Avon, however the outside benching and garden area could do with some TLC.

If your in the area its well worth seeking out

Thought the staff were a bit direct and rude

What a location! The outside seating area runs down to the Avon and there moorings for boats which I should think are packed in the summer. The beer was excellent and the food as good. Service very pleasant and quick.

They seem to be doing some renovations inside the pub and will need to do some outside as well.

Quite difficult to find but well worth the effort.
