Full on greek restaurant now. Didn't notice any real ales, although some reports of a single McMullens being on. Instead, I went for a £5.20 Peroni. It was lifeless.

Sure the food is lovely.

I want to like this pub but I just can't.

The service, now it is food lead, is just so slow. It would not really matter so much if the food was good, but it's average at best. It's in a lovely setting and the new team are nice enough; but insisting on bringing drinks out and then just not doing it, is not service; it's annoying.

Only McMullens on draft which is a shame, as to be fair it's a pretty average brewer.

No dogs in bar, in a pub in this location it's daft. Just let us come in, choose from a selection of beers, have a cheese sandwich and bring our dogs in (even to the little bar) and you'll find me nipping in for many a pint.

Great country pub, food is nice and beers are well kept. Staff are very friendly and the pub caters for children well. Always welcoming.

This pub is excellent now much better since the new owners took over . You have themed nights, bouncy castle for the kids and play area, food excellent although no to keen about the baguettes being swapped for sandwiches on the menu, (but they do still taste nice), Deserts are nice too youve got waffles, chocolate cake, cheescake all very yummy!

Always packed in the summer as the garden is lovely to sit out in with a cold jug of pimms surrounded by the country side.

Bar staff friendly and will have a chat with you whilst you wait for your drinks.

Deffinatley be returning !

Always had a decent experience here, but never great. Food and beer is average, staff can be a bit cavalier or really good - must depend on which way the wind blows.
