Fine choice of ales: Liquid Sunshine, Tribute, Halfway House and Skinners Kickov.

Usual St Austell beers; Tribute, Proper Job, Cornish Best and the one I selected, Liquid Sunshine.
Unfortunately it was on the turn and undrinkable.
The bar-girl did not believe me it was off, saying the barrel still had plenty of beer in it.
I asked her to try it. She said she did not drink beer.
"Then get the manager to try it" I said.
She came back after a few minutes and offered to change it.

That was the first time in many years of drinking I have had trouble replacing a pint.
When leaving an hour or so later, I noticed the Liquid Sunshine was still available for sale.
Disappointing visit.

Nice location next to a superb park and the ferry to Plymouth.
Expect the usual Tribute, Trelawny and Proper Job and normally a not so usual beer, this time being St Austell's Rainforest Gold.

Beautiful location with great views across to Plymouth, best to arrive by ferry like we did.
We visited on a weekday in the summer and the place was fairly quiet, can imagine it being a total nightmare on a summers weekend.
Didn't eat here as expensive (no suprise really!).
Drinks range ok and of course expensive again.

Worth a visit for the ferry trip and view alone

Sunday night in Cremyll! With a wind blowing and the rain coming down it is like the end of the World .How good it is to find a nice big pub with real log fire on a cold wet night. St Austell Proper Job at £3.60, Tribute at £3.55. Huge selection of food on the Specials Board plus normal {expensive) menu plus a limited Carvery, Pork or Beef at £9.50. Welcoming barman who later served us to a Carvery, with, alas, no observed food hygiene precautions taken, as noted in earlier posts, when moving from bar to food servery. Very pleasant ambience, enjoyable meal but but was short changed by a barmaid when getting a second round of beers.. Drew it to her attention and the short change was given back exactly, without me having to say how much was short. Could have been an honest mistake or another Tourist Tax! Beer price still hurts, but this time we could just about justify it. Date of visit 5/4/14
