Food and venue lovely. Most staff are very customer orientated. However, I was very disappointed to be charged 1.20 for a small Soda water and lime - by the landlord!! Soda is free in every pub in Peterborough, and when challenged, the landlord was absolutely certain this price was right and that every pub charges for soda?!?!
Not an honest remark as he deffo know better than this, and I know I was ripped off - by a man who blatantly was ripping off his customers. Shame on the man.

You've been warned!

Just been along to the refurbished boadthouse, sorry to say it's still dirty - even the cutlery! Starter looked and tasted like it had been made several hours ago and left hanging around, main course not bad but not worth the price. Probably ok if you go along for a sandwich or fish & chips - stay away from the more expensive items as they will disappoint. Cider was good real ales poor - didn't try the largers or wine.

Had my Christmas meal with work here one year, excellent. Was only drinking soft beverages after a heavy night before.

Was the start of an infamous night out for me in PBoro.

Nice to sit outside in the summer but not a great deal else to get excited by in this pub. Some real beer.
