| First stop for me in Hexham town centre on a Saturday evening was the Tap & Spile. This pub offers bed & breakfast and I had contacted them for a room. But they never replied. In hindsight, I was happier I had chosen a place a little out of the centre instead. | My home for the night. I have always wanted to live in a pub! Superbly kept beer, i tried the brains and doombar, both perfect. High speed wifi. Lots of friendly people, not least the owners and staff. Great pub. Mappiman - 19 May 2012 20:42 |
