| This pub is on BITE twice, so I'll post a review on each. In total contrast to the Bull in the Barne nearby, this pub was empty when I called in at 7.30 last night. It's a two roomed pub, but one room was in darkness. The room I was in had a dartboard and some comfortable seating round the outside of the room along with tables and stools. Three handpumps but only Bombardier was actually on. It was a decent pint. The landlady told me that she also has Draught Bass on at busier times and used to have London Pride as well (how can you tell it's owned by Punch). Sadly trade now dictates that she can only support one beer at a time. It's a nice enough pub, but it looks to be struggling at the moment. ROBCamra - 26 Feb 2009 11:44 |
