| My first stop in Macclesfield on a windy and wet Saturday evening was this pub on the western outskirts. It's in the current Good Beer Guide. Whilst it was quite busy, it didn't stand out above the rest. 4 real ales are served. On my visit, these were Bass, Robinson's Unicorn, Sharp's Doom Bar & Exmoor Gold.
