The Lowes Arms is good pub on the cusp between Hyde and Denton.
They often sell the excellent Hornbeam beers brewed just up the road in Denton, which are superb. Alternatively, Phoenix beers and guest ales are sold too. The beer is always in good condition. The pub itself is smart and comfortable.
Food is good too - you can get a three-course Sunday meal for 11, with plenty of choice (umpteen starters, mains and puds) with lots of other meal deals throughout the week.
I do miss the LAB beers though - personally, I rather liked them.

Been here loads recently coz I have a really good friend who lives nearby. They always have different real ales in, which is fantastic; the food is always good, and the staff are always friendly. Make sure you go wearing something light though, as it's always boiling in here! Certainly one to visit.

LAB brewery has stopped brewing it seems and, re-opend as Dane Town? No home brew on when I visted which wasn't a bad thing(I was never a fan a LAB beers). Guest beer range from Hornbeam and Three Rivers. The food looks good, but the layout often leaves the drinker feeling that he has nowhere to sit without getting in the way.

very good beer and above average food, usually,
well run pub,
Waterfall feature is a waste a space and money, it looks so old hat and tacky, shame because a bit of original thought put into it then an opportunity for something decent maybe?
No LAB beers at present, but very decent Phoenix ales.
