The new licensee is called Dave.Nice guy. Won't stand any nonsense. He used to run a pub in the centre of Bolton and loves he Sundial. There's not going to be a restaurant area. In the bar there is a plan of the new extension. The kitchen is going and there will be more seating area. The atmosphere is generally vey good.

Good sized pub. Games room (Lounge) and vault side. Big Screen. Pool table.Small Car park.(Rumours of a new restaurant extension into the car park) Has a reputation of being a bit of a 'Rough' pub. Mainly regulars drink in here. Used to kick off regularly, especially during football and weekends. Feel on edge drinking in there. Not as bad as the Waggon and Horses down the road though. The Dial has recently been taken over by new landowners, since Chris left for Broadheath in Altrincham. So, hopefully the pub can be and will be turned around. Could certainly be a good pub. Lots of potential. Right on the main road of Walmersley. Over the road from the Limefield post office and co-op. (Next to the old Bury General hospital site-now flats)
At present, would rather walk the 5 minute walk to the Cricks or the 15 min walk down to the Brown cow on the Burrs.
