Believe this pub is just located off Scarfell Pike. They were certainly doing plenty of food here at the time, a nice location.

Very pleasant pub/restaurant. A good selection of beers and food was extremely pleasant. Very good service. When we visited it was always busy - so is obviously popular.

A lovely pub in a wonderful setting. Friendly, professional staff and an excellent choice of real beer that they take obvious pride in serving in excellent condition. Great place to eat as well.

We came across The Bridge Inn following a recommendation in a guest book at the holiday venue we were staying at...Wow, glad we did, as we spent 5 out of the following 7 evening meals at this lovely, friendly pub..The staff were amazingly friendly and then we come onto the food, where do you begin - a great menu to choose from and then when the food turns up it looks and tasted wonderful!!! My favourites had to be the Lamb Jennings - a shoulder cut of lamb that just melted off the bone :-) plus my father loved their great chips..
Cant recommend this pub highly enough to people visiting the Lake District and staying in the Holmrook area.
Didn't actually stay in the hotel part but would presume that this is also excellent

A wonderful pub with first class food (the lamb Jennings was superb) and excellent beer, if a tad expensive (2.90 for the guest ale) but well worth it. Beautiful location next to a river and a handy campsite round the corner. Staff were attentive and helpful even when the place was packed.
