| Fantastic little pub down Wood Lane just outside of Horsley Woodhouse with welcoming staff. The menu looked expensive so I went for the fish and chips which were on a �5.99 offer, or something like that and I have to say they were the nicest fish and chips I have ever had. Absolutely fantastic. Was very quaint how they took us into a side room where it was a bit posher for us to have our snap after we'd had a few beers. Speaking of beers, they were very nice, I think it was Landlord that I was drinking, lovely, though it would have been nice to have seen some local Derbyshire beers - there are some good ones. dyyony - 25 Oct 2011 20:31 |
