| A hot and sunny day and needed some refreshment. Only a fairly quick visit but had some very acceptable Badger. Looked like a decent pub - outside seating area in full sun. | I called in here the other day expecting to see a change as, last time I was in the area, I was told that Palmers were taking over. Apparently that all fell through and things are as they were. Great for real ale and cider drinkers and dog owners who like to share their bedroom and dining facilities with them. Former CAMRA real cider pub of the year. Worth a visit just for that. | This is a lovely little hotel and good value to stay at. Not sure I would class it as a "pub" though. The Lulworth Cove Inn a minutes walk away is a very decent pub with a nice outdoor area and local ales on draught. anonymous - 8 Aug 2007 18:20 |
| Just came back from a week in Dorset, great sun terrace, not a huge selection of beers but waitress very very pleasant and the beer we drank was good. Food pricey but definitely worth it, their fish and seafood was excellent and cooked well. Been back twice now. ThePrincess - 2 Jun 2007 20:39 |
