I popped in here for a pint and some lunch. The Wychwood Hobgoblin was very drinkable indeed, and the food perfectly acceptable (I had a panini). Friendly staff. Very quiet though for a Friday lunchtime.

The pub has changed hands again, but the standards are still good. The restaurant offers a variety of food and the service was efficient. A roaring log fire welcomes in the winter and there is comfortable seating and a good size car park.

This pub has been very patchy over the last 18 months or so, but a new regime is in place once again, with the landlady freely admitting it's her first ever pub.
Very tidy inside, perhaps slightly more modern than you would expect from outside. Roaring log fire, couple of deep settees, quite cosy all round. Three decent real ales always on, haven't tried the food yet, but plenty of boards around with all sorts of offers on. Promising, hope they can maintain the enthusiastic start,

What a marvellous pub. The food was fantastic and we were totally overwhelmed by the portions. The RAF theme is very interesting and the landlord has some great stories to tell. Lovely Village location on the A361 between Banbury and daventry and excellent through route between the M40 and M1.
