user reviews of the Royal Oak, Walton

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

There was a building that looked like it used to be pub on this main road. It was surrounded by modern housing and was certainly no longer open.

Was closed and boarded up when I drove past this week. Hopefully it's only a temporary thing, but over the last few years the owners ( Milton Estate ) have been trying to knock it down to make room for housing. Shame on them.

Good solid pub, excellent atmosphere and the landlords take pride in the beer. A pub to visit and enjoy pubs how they used to be.

This pub is the best pub in Peterborough, no thrills, no nonsense pub of the old School with one of the cheapest Pints in Peterborough. The amount they give to charity far exceeds the size of the pubs but not their hearts.

Large two-roomed roadside pub. Very popular with the locals and very busy at week-ends. Football mad, with large screen TV, this pub has raised thousands for local & national charities in recent years. A good selection of drinks, include three ever changing real ales at competitive prices. Occasional beer festivals in large garden to rear.
