Inside the pub looks like a building site at present so there was only outdoor table service on Saturday afternoon. What seemed like a promising beer menu at first became more prosaic in the absence of a canned cherry sour and 2 of the 6 listed cask ales (although perhaps I should have checked the website in case the printed menu hadn't been updated). That still left Lacons Encore, Woodforde's Bure Gold and Headcracker and Mauldons Silver Adder (my choice). Would be willing to visit again another time as the service was particularly friendly.

Looks like an olde worlde pub from the outside but doesn't have the feel of one. Ale was okay (third choice after first two had gorn ). The clientelle were a bit UTOAs. Wouldn't rush back.

A pub that tries to improve, get a warm welcome with decent beer shame it`s quiet during the week. Food is ok but not cheap for a pub at woodbridge.

Good pub, friendly staff and good interesting menu. Range of six ales on offer - mostly from local larger breweries. Over 70 gins on offer which, if the landlady is behind the bar, you can have the whole nine yards about the histories and 'tasting notes' of any gin featured. Atmosphere very comfortable, great place to rest after a hard days golf on the local course. Highly recommended, maybe good do with a more adventurous ale portfolio to keep their heads above the rival pubs in the area

All has changed, and very much for the better.

Regular guest ales - interesting ones, not from 'the usual suspects'.

Great food, well prepared.
