Not a good place to eat. Food comes in part-cooked and frozen and they just heat it up before they serve it. The fact that they have chickens on a rotisserie gives the impression that it is all cooked or grilled from fresh but this is not the case, which is why the food comes out pretty horrible most of the time, and the salad bar is uninspiring too.

Part of the Harvester chain, there is no real ale available so this is no place to drink unless you want pasturised chemical nitro fizz. The food quality is poor with soggy chips ,dubious cuts of meat and suspiciously small chickens. The only two positive aspects are the salad bar, which the cooks cant screw up,and the calorie count against each item on the menu. However there is no advice to the clinically obese on how to burn off the excess calories they injest ,so here is my suggestion ......take a jog down the towpath, fatty.

This restuarant is typical of a big chain who don't care. The serve is poor and the staff are not interested (unless you are a personal friend or a family member of one of the waitresses). The food is cooked to a prescription at a standard somewhat less than Macdonalds. The choice of salad at the bar is disappointing; a mix of a few limp salad vegetables and pasta in goo. The 'cooks' (not chefs) use the grill to disguise inadequacies in their abilities. If you like dried over cooked food then this is the place to go. Value for money Easier to flush you money down the toilet.

Another trip to the Harvester as it is known now. Excellent sirloin steak and chips. Really good food. Great service, decent prices, good atmosphere. Gone up in my estimations. Well done!
