Despite the above comments, I recived a very warm welcome from the hosts of the establishment Karen And Stuart.I have just moved into the village and find this public house to be one of the only traditonal pubs left in this area. All of the other public houses in the village have been turned into a cheap form of pub/eating houses, that only cater for passing trade. And do not have time to sit and have a friendy chat with customers the local people who frequent the Bluebell are also very friendly and this quaint little country pub is ideal for a quick drink on a summers evening after work and Sunday lunches.I suggest you vist for yourself to see what this excellent pub has to offer Highly reccomend. Well what a pub!! Kids, dogs, dirty toilets, dirty glasses and they appear to permanent fixtures! Never been in a pub with no locals or draught beer, the plus side of a lack of draft beer is you're less likely to get diptheria drinking out of a bottle! Nuff said

Contrary to previous comments, this pub is brill. The owners, Karen & Steve are just the best. It is the friendliest pubs I have been in. They make you really welcome and on quiz night(Sunday) they provide great food etc. They are upgrading the garden at the back and when finished (soon) it will be a pleasure. The interior has been completely refurbished by them since they took over and it is well worth a visit. There is a lot of history in this pub which they are only too happy to tell you about if you ask. If you are in the area you gotta give it a look over and have a very reasonably priced drink.
