Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime for a quick pint. The beers on offer were GK IPA, London Pride and St Austell Tribute. The Tribute was a good pint, let down by not being a great beer at the best of times. The only negative is that I would prefer to find a closed door somewhere between the bar and the toilets.

Fairly bland pub situated in the shopping area of town. The fairly standard unsurprising ales on offer were Greene King IPA, Black Sheep and London Pride. Pretty boring as pubs go, but probably the best bet in the immediate area.

I had an overnight stop in Luton before flying out the following morning. I fancied a beer or two before a bite to eat. The Castle was fine - friendly landlady, perfect-nick (if slightly expensive) pint of Black Sheep and friendly locals. Turned into a three-pint pub!

Real ales available, but nothing to write home about (Hobgoblin and Speckled Hen on a recent visit). Decent enough atmosphere.

Being a punk/rock pub is different to anything else in luton town centre, which scares off most of the WKD drinking Weatherspoons intellectuals which is a good thing in Luton . Have been gfoing there for 6 months and have found it a very relaxed bar with none of the pretensious nonsense most other places in town do . First class pub
