Another large open plan drinking establishment typical of the brand although at least it was open after 10 whereas most of the surrounding pubs had shut. Ale was pretty good though and cheap (@ 2.29) but I wouldn't fancy being there when it's busy.

Large Wetherspoons pub split over a couple of floors and just opposite the Millenium Stadium. It was fairly busy on our Saturday morning visit. The interior is typical Spoons open plan. Beers on were Brecon Orange Beacons, Celt Bleddyn 1075, Wharfebank Wispa IPA, Mordue Belma Red, Greene King Abbot & Ruddles Best. Cider was Gwynt y Ddraig Ancient Warrior, Celtic Warrior & Haymaker & Westons Cider Twist Perry, along with their Country Perry. Surprised by the amount of ciders. As the previous review suggests, this must be a permanent feature. But no complaints from me.

Not much more you can say about this place - its a Wetherspoons with all that entails. Poor range of beer on our visit (more draught cider than ale); usual lack of bar staff but cheap prices for beer and food. Handy for city centre and the stadium etc.

One of the better Wetherspoons in Cardiff. Plenty of space and always a grand selection of ales. Can get rather busy at times, especially in its location opposite the Milennium Stadium.

Large Spoons located close to Millenium Stadium and Castle. As previous comments have said, beer of good quality. If you like real ale then you won't be disappointed.
