Why do you have a picture of the wrong pub?

Went in on Monday night. Footy on the telly which although TV in one corner was output on speakers across whole pub. OK if you like Football but not if you want a quiet drink. Marston - EPA had run out but London Pride was drinkable. Not an inspiring place to go back to.

There seems to be a lot of unfounded and unfair comments about this pub and i feel it should be given a fair crack of the whip by trying it out and making up your own mind before being put off by a minority who for some reason want an assasination attempt on a well run pub with a friendly atmosphere.
Every pub in the country has its fair share of characters some ok some less desirable but customers none the less. The pub is roomy enough not to sit directly with people you might not want to be around ... so move and make your time spent in there nicer if you feel the need to. The manager does a lot to promote the supported charities and has raised some good sums for various causes and theres a real fun quiz night there every Sunday night, so come on, cut the Roses some slack and allow this small pub to flourish without the need to blow it off the runway even before its got a chance to take off. AND PLEASE CAN SOMEONE CHANGE THE PICTURE TO THE CORRECT PUB !!! Thanks.

small and unfriendly, with staff who prefer not to be there, and a manager whos main interest is his girlfriend!! If you wish to visist a pub with no respect, care or friendlyness this is the pub to go!!!! or alternativly go to any other pub for a better time!!!!

A basic pub, not much to it really being quite small, quite popular and always seems to be a few in, good for sports on the big screen, not half as bad as you would believe reading some of these comments, but then again nothing special.

It's a complete dump, only went there cos we had a power cut at home a couple of summers ago, wouldn't bother to return until the next one!

I love the Seven Red Roses, however, this picture is quite clearly not the correct pub!

The picture above is NOT the Seven Red Roses?

Small, stale smelling boozer with a very 'locals only' feel about it. Felt a bit unconfortable as its one of those pubs where the locals all glare at anyone 'strange' walking into THEIR pub! I didnt even finish my pint!

Very bland and chainy. A couple of ales (Youngs Ordinary and Pride), both sparklerised.

There's a dartbaord. Ummm, that's about it. I wasn't keen.

I was recommended a trip to the roses by a mate of mine who goes there on a sunday night. Theres been an ongoing music quiz there for the last 9 years every sunday hosted by a bloke called terry peters. Did i have a laugh or what ?? Me and my mates had a brilliant time trying to win the jackpot prize of 400. Its one of those quizzes thats well thought out and gives everyone a fair crack of the whip to win it. Its not serious and you have a real laugh doing it. I dont live far from the pub and cant work out why i hadnt heard about it before. I give it a big thumbs up and we`ll all be back to have another go very soon. If you dont try it you`ll never know.

The new manager seems to be working his socks off to get the best from this community pub. The London Pride was in good form and he hopes to add a guest beer to the other hand-pump. Worth calling into.

Very small but full of life. Real mix from 18-80 and all having good time. It was standing room only but you didnt mind as everyone was really friendly

Typically charmless chain pub, charmless beers, charmless food, charmless staff and charmless punters. A thouroughly dull night out, but does have the misfortune of serving the alcoholics from the local council estate so there will always be the bonus entertainment of a good punch up. Enter at your own risk.
