To be fair the tall guy with the beard behind the bar is always very pleasant to me and likes to discuss the ales which are on. Not my favourite local 'Sppons but not bad nonetheless.

Decent pub spoilt by the staff. No Hello please or thank you and they don't even tell you the cost of your purchase. In fact, you only know that they can speak is because they are constantly chatting amongst themselves.

Apart from the staff this is a reasonable boozer with several changing real ales and decent pub grub.

If I was the manager I would sack the dark haired teenage barmaid with the pony tail/ Croydon facelift. Manners are important and bad attitude are a complete no no. Sunday
June 15th.

Taller glass collector with the brown pony tail/ Croydon facelift removed a half pint in the few minutes I was in the toilet. At least she did not speak - not even to offer an apology.

Older blonde barmaid and other staff were fine. Alloa beers were very good too.

Pub 1 of my 7 pub tick off on a Saturday afternoon in the centre of town.

Large fronted spoons down the side of Central Station on Argyle St.

Saturday afternoon and it was heaving, loads of people in for the duration.

Has a nice feel about it but it was blinking busy, plenty of staff behind the bar made ordering a drink no bother what so ever.

The annual Wetherspoon's beer festival was on, I choose a American beer brewed to a Dutch recipe and it was poured just fine.

Not a bad wetherspoons. Quick service, though tennents was off last friday night. Friendly enough door staff, been in worse 'spoons pubs

A Wetherspoon Pub. Have visited several times. As you would expect from Wetherspoon's beer and food are good at reasonable prices. Last visit was disappointing Lamb Shank served with chips and no excuses or explanation provided!

very unfriendly staff, would never visit again
