please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The Little House got planning consent last year for change of use to residential and an extension. The work is largely complete October 2010. Shame they has to rip the original 1933 Toby tile plaques off the front.

present landlords are leaving this establishment very soon - stay tuned to find out what will happen to this boozer I guess .....

totally agree with these coments. Strange little pub, v friendly and i will be back, though I'd recommend sitting in the public bar rather than the saloon if you want to get a proper feel for the place.

This seems to an honest backstreet boozer. Unfortunately the only real ale (Old Speckled Hen) was undrinkable, but was readily changed for the next best thing keg Courage Best. It appears to be pretty much unchanged since when it was built between the wars, except, so I was told, for the addition of the bar gantry. It still has separate Public and Saloon bars, and the locals I spoke with in the Public Bar were very friendly and knowledgeable concerning the history of the pub. This is an excellent and friendly pub if only they did a decent real ale.

I had a few beers in here a few times- thought "brillant- a small pub with a local atmosphere". I got that the first few times I went in. I even had a load of sandwiches in there once that I dont think were even on a menu.

I stopped going after I went to watch the chelsea arsenal game with a gooner. Silly mistake really. There was no trouble or anything, just a vibe that we shouldnt really be there. Which I guess is fair enough.

I dont know if I'd go back, because I dont live that close and there are other pubs I prefer that are closer. But I'd never tell anyone not to try it.

For being a proper local boozer though, 7 on 10

A small pub set off the main road, it is managed by the congenial Louise - aided & abetted by Mark.
This is one of the last dart playing pubs in the area, & when not playing a game, there are Tvs in both bars. this is a pub for footie fans & dog lovers - Joe the pub dog is an absolute diamond.

I think this place is sweet. If your feeling brave chat with the locals. Once you start you can't stop. They are funny and welcoming. Get over the fact that they all huddle around the bar and that you do get an odd look when you walk in(its becasue someone new is in and they are suprised) but it is a lovely little oub once you get over that. I'll definately be going back.

People who drink here don't have internet connections.

The last proper working class pub in Tooting. Good friendly boozer with outdoor pool table! Monthly club night on Fridays has attracted some good local bands and comedy.
