Like this pub a lot. Very good tribute.

Just the correct anount of busyness on a Tuesday evening.

About as good as you will find in the area.

H & Co. be praised! What I love about this place is that you can be away for weeks or even months on end and when you return you're remembered and it's like you were never away! Fantastic manageress and lovely, friendly, worldly staff! Well kept beers, reasonable and tastey grub! A nice little hide away from Oxford Street. 9/10

Sad to report we were in here on Thursday last week and the pub has taken a severe turn for the worse.
Still got the lovely fire and all the beams etc, the only problem is the bar stuff have gone from the best in London to worst , shocking amount of time to get served, staff were unfriendly so I guess its now changed into a typical london boozer,Shame!

Handy place to pop in for a pint just near to Oxford Street. I went in for a pint and liked the atmosphere straight away. There was a roaring fire and a generally comnfortable feel to the place. The service was fine and the range of ales was not bad either. I would imagine that it could get busy at night, but for mid-afternoonn on a Thursday there was plenty of space. Not bad at all.

Found this place by chance after wandering off from Oxford Street looking for a quick pint whilst others shopped. Appeared to be a very popular lunch destination for local workers - the place was full. As a result the atmosphere was good, so was the beer - a nice pint of Doom Bar (three other ales were also on)

Fantastic pub very well ran with on the ball staff and although often packed to the rafters you do get a good atmosphere ,so much so the street outside is an extension of the pub, good food but dont go if you dont like crowds.

Enjoyed the Young's Gold (2.70) while watching Holland/Uruguay. Service good; frontage has been redone since photo; other than that in agreement on the pub/drinking with the 4 reviews below.

This place is ok for a couple of quiet pints in a relaxed atmosphere, but I did find the staff to be slow although friendly with it. Bombardier, Pride, Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen were available during my visit along with a standard draught selection and my Guinness was well served, in the end.

It is a dark bar with lots of pictures and nick-naks adorning the walls and there are plenty of snug areas to have a conversation with the mates or misses. I spotted a couple of plasma screens that were showing Sky News which was muted due to some decent background music being played.

Im not a fan of pubs that have condiments on all of the tables as you can get settled and find yourself sitting next to people swilling into a plate of slop covered in ketchup, but this place is big enough to set yourself up for a good night.

I would pop back in if passing.

For a pub one block off Oxford St the Three Tuns is excellent - low ceiling, darkish interior means this is a pub for winter warmth rather than the hazy days of summer but it's an excellent wlecoming interior with a good range at the bar.

The main noise when I was in was the buzz of conversation which is always a good sign to my mind although there was some classic rock in the background which was pleasant without being intrusive.

I have the Three Tuns marked down as a good place to drink and will try and return here in the near future.

Found this pub by accident and I was impressed, very good welcoming staff, good food and ale. Prices were average and would go again. There was a nice mixture of locals and tourist's of all ages.

I like the Three Tuns. Great location and refreshingly untouristy. Decor pleasant, beer fine, staff and clientele are very friendly. Much to recommend, i'd go there again for a pint or three for sure.

However (you knew there'd be a however didn't you) We ordered some Nachos and they were RANK. Seriously. Worse pub meal i've ever had. Best part of a tenner for a small handful of what looked and tasted like Tesco Basics type tortilla chips (no cheese) and similar dips, one of which looked and tasted like sick. Truly awful and such a pity because they get so much else right.

dont know what sharp was talking about he must have been barred or something, any way just been in for lunch with my wife we had a fantastic meal and the table service is something other pubs in the area must be envious about, it did remind us of our little village country pub in devon, warm and inviting, next time in london "i'll be back"

neddy191234 must work there or something.

Went in yesterday for some lotion, 3.09 for a terrible pint of Old Speckeled Hen. The staff were rude and kept hastling people sitting down nearing the end of their drinks, asking if they wanted another, pressuring many into buying. I got in at 5pm and sat at a table reserved for 7pm - by 5.20 a worried staff member had summoned her manager to check I could read. Will never be returning. Generous 1, simply becuase it had some ales on.

The three tuns would have to be the best pub off oxford street. With there friendly aussie bar staff that make you feel right at home from the second you walk through the door. quickest service ive ever had in a london pub, no matter how busy the pub is there is never a wait. The staff are alway more then happy to service you from your table if thats what you like. Prices are fair also, just remember it anit no weatherspoons

Its great to go into a place where there arnt a whole heap of dirty drunk men cracking on you. i give the Tuns a big ten out of ten

Pleasant enough place. Had a few pints here on a Saturday afternoon. Decent club sandwich as well at a reasonable place. Perhaps a little soulless and a lot of passing tourist trade but not bad for a quiet pint

My mate Choppers said it was "just like a country pub" so we went round to see for ourselves... and it was. Even with an open fire burning and keeping us warm.

Very busy at lunch-times and straight after work on Thursdays & Fridays because of all the nearby offices. They could probably be done for trades misdescriptions re their 'fantastic new menu' tho which really should be called 'slightly below average menu but quite good value for money'! Very easy access if you need to escape from Oxford Street though... turn left by the flagship New Look close to Marble Arch then first right. There's not that many other OK pubs as close to Oxford Street that I can think of either....

Average pub with standard real ales. Fairly large. Comfortable when quiet. 6/10.

its a good boozer but the toilets smell and is full of idoits from the big office round the back

Called in last Friday evening for a drink with a couple of friends. Very nice pub with a relaxed atmosphere. Although the music was a bit loud for my taste. The decor is village-like, with wooden beams throughout. It was a hot evening and it was very pleasant standing outside. The beer was a bit limited - the Bombadier was off, the Caledonian 80/- was just about okay and there was Directors which was good, but not a beer to drink all night. Unfortunately the food finishes at 7.00pm on Fridays, which meant we left at nine to get something to eat.

Lovely pub, great basic british grub, tuns of real ales, good location and very freindly staff. Great for Xmas shopping and annoying tourists.
