Not a bad boozer all in all. Was in there a few days back, the food is cheap but good, the beer is well priced, and there are not to many thugs which is nice for a change. Worth a couple of beers if ya passing.

I have been to this pub quite a few times, some days it's really nice in there and some days it's awful. Rude male staff behind the bar, dirty tables, prices and food were good but the atmosphere was horrible and the manageress's is extremely rude to her staff.

Dreadful staff on duty when I was there - surly man behind the bar seemed annoyed that I wanted a drink and cursed under his breath whilst pouring it (badly).

Not a pleasant experience.

A social pub, with various games and table games etc going on in various parts of the pub and sport on the big screens. Regulars seemed on the loud side, but politely moved aside for anyone trying to get to the bar, so you can't judge a book by it's cover.

Nothing unpleasant, but just not my cup of tea. If you like a games/sports theme, it's probably ideal.

Popped in for a quick beer a couple of Saturdays ago. Busy place, but useless disinterested staff. Took almost fifteen minutes to get served. Dreary clientele in a spangly pub. Yuk.

This looks to be a fairly unremarkable obviously pubco pub on the edges of Worcester Park. It had the usual roster of games machines, cash dispenser and one-armed bandits, TV screens (but switched off at Friday lunchtime). But it was clean and tidy when I was in there. Plus post-budget prices of Youngs Bitter and London Pride at 2.09 and 2.55 a pint respectively is pretty good. Not quite down to Wetherspoons level, but good nonetheless. This pub is OK for a pint if you happen to be passing, but nothing special to warrant a special visit.

I visited the North End tavern for the first time in ages last night and found the pub to be very clean and had excellent standards. The food was great and very well priced and the service was excellent also. I will definitely be back!

Iam a regular at this pub,the food is good, most of the staff are excellent, service is good, beer is good, heated smoking shelter out the back is good, garden could do with asome attention but its ok.it has all sports covered on the 2 large screens there. The only thing thats wrong is the arrogant, rude manageress although she is hardly ever in the pub and rarely behind the bar.when she is there and happens to be working she is often rude to her staff in front of customers by talking down to them like children.I wonder what the owners would say about her non presence in the pub.If it wasnt for the other staff the pub would go down hill fast. The regulars are great and really friendly, theres never any trouble and the place is always clean and well decorated. If they got a new manager/manageress in there that actually took notice of the paying customers this place would be excellent.

I think that the manageress seems to be nice to all people who drink in there. In all of the visits that I have made to the pub I have never seen a beer off and the food that I have eaten there is of a v good standard. I think that the pub has much improved over the past 12 months... keep it up

The manageress might be loudish, but we got a good lunch deal when we were there. We'd go back. What's the problem?

The landlord is rude and shouts at her staff in front of customers. She is arrogant and makes customers, and from what i can see staff, feel like they're stepping on eggshells, which can make it a little awkward to drink in the pub sometimes. Food is o.k., nothing to shout about really. Good location and good atmosphere at the weekends.

Im a regular at The North End, and have been for many years. Therefore have seen the pub undergo many changes, and the newest manager to take over has done an excellent job, with re-introducing food and getting to know the locals. All i can say is at the wrong side of fifty she has only ever shown me politeness and professionalism and ive never witnessed anything different.

Food good, staff good, nice locals but don't go there when the manageress is there as she only has time for a few people and is rude to everyone else, particularly us more mature customers.

Never should have got rid of Richard, best manager by far. Never seen anyone kill a place so quick, R.I.P North End Tavern

Used to drink in the north end years ago- mainly to see the fit bar man - Chris (the Tall lanky one that looks bit like Shaggy from scooby doo)!!
Generally a good fun pub, great atmosphere during football.

I haven't been here for years as it was a hardened boozers pub back in the 80s and 90s.

Bit of a strange public house. Sometimes, it can be very nice to go there for a drink and at other times, it can be downright awful! Beer is alright - has Youngs Ordinary & Special and Bass. Food generally consists of crisps and peanuts, as the food, although good value is poor quality and consists of everything with chips!!! The punters are fine and cause no harm although once again, this pub can get very smoky which makes it hard to breathe at times.

I walk in with beads of sweat forming upon my brow. The door opens, creaking. The carpet gives slightly underfoot, yet gives it back like a carpet that has seen better days. The locals turn to me as if I were part of a bizarre yet strangely amusing Victorian freak show. I feel intimidated. I reach into my fading denim jacket, preparing my hand around my weapon. They continue to look. I shift nervously. They snigger. Within a moment they are all dead. Some of their limbs are in spasm, but, like all else on earth, this is transient. Oh patrons of the North End Tavern: outsiders are coming, and they will infiltrate your inbred community! (Sarcasm aside, this place is a good, honest, real local pub, worth a visit if you're passing... however, come in through the back door unless you crave attention!)
