Right next door to the station, so very convenient for commuters. Friendly staff and a couple of interesting Surrey/Hants beers on.

This pub just got buzzing again after the closure and now its under new management. Wheres the customers gone now?

Clean looking pub! Great well kept real ales. Nice to see a pool table makes a pub a pub!
Also VERY good drink prices
Will be back as soon as you do food
Very pleased

Nice enough place, with limited ale selection. The big tv, pool table, and fruit machine having pride of place and sparse decor, isn't really to my taste but if that's your kind of thing then maybe this is your sort of pub.

Imho not a patch on what it was.

Recently reopened, nice clean friendly place with Real Ales and TVs for sport. Will be a great place, perfect after a long train journey, especally with Food and Live Bands. Large garden for that summer pint after work

A new entry in the 2012 Good Beer Guide, a reward for always serving a good pint of beer.

Best looking barmaid in Farnham at the minute, an improving pub.

Much improved since new owner took over, top bar mainly for people eating and the bottom bar for drinkers.

Serves a range of three real ales and lager and cider, the real ale is always well kept but is a bit pricey.

Food is very good a good start for a beer in Farnham as right by the train station.

Popped in for a pint before getting the train. Good beer (had a nice pint of TrippleFFF moondance) but the interior is hit and miss. I'm no expert but having a pool table taking up most of the bar area as you go in doesn't give the best impression of a warm and welcoming pub. The other part seem to be full of out of control kids. Each to their own but I doubt I will be back unless my train is delayed.

Much improved pub with good beer and a warm welcome. Food pretty good, interior a bit stark but good for a chat and a game of pool.

Step off the westbound platform at Farnham Station and cross the road to a friendly and welcoming pub. Was driving the night we were there, so can only comment on the mineral water :) but GREAT food - delicious and imaginative, suits all tastes from their homemade burgers with giant-sized chips to an excellent risotto with silver bream. Bit short on the puddings but otherwise a definate 2 thumbs up ****

This pub has completely turned itself around since it got taken over in late 2009. I went there last night with the family as they have started doing food. What can I say? Well it was excellent, the selection is well thought through, not just your standard dishes. Starter, main and dessert all delicious. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. There were two ales on pump at time of visiting; Hogs Back TEA and Ringwood Best (I had the Best and it was in good condition).
All in all, it was a great night and will be going back soon. Places like this need support!

Well, according to this site there are 4 pubs closer to the station than this one, strangely they appear to be hidden away. Were noticeably playing Oasis this evening.

Great pub now new management in. Clean, helpful staff and cool place to unwind.

I've seen cleaner places in an Abbos armpit. However, it's not the worse place I've been to in Farnham.

Good place to chill out, have a beer, listen to music you've never heard before and watch some pool. Have T.E.A. and Courage on the handpump at the moment. Bit bored with those ones. You may think differently though. Get a good view of people acting as if they're trying to get away from something or someone (but not from the pub!)

Well a bullet proof vest isnt necessary! Friendly enough small pub, with a good range of beer. Rather cramped but if its not too busy you shall be fine

this is a pub that still has the 2 bar arrangement local hogs back beer was on tap
