My family use this pub for meals as it is within easy travelling distance of our home. Although the service can be a little slow when the pub is busy, it is still acceptable. The food is good value, the drinks reasonably priced and the staff always very pleasant.

Don't know how long Ember Inns have been running this but since we moved to the area last summer it's the pub we keep coming back to. Good beer selection (although I've not got beyond the Harvey's yet), decent grub and unfailingly pleasant and helpful staff.

Went here today on a sunny afternoon, and still here now!

Great atmos, Cool music, Suitable for all ages, Great beer and cider, Reasonable prices (on average 3 per pint).

Will come again.

My wife and I really like this pub. The prices are reasonable (compared to a lot of places) and the pub is always spotlessly clean. They have a car park round the back which you do have to pay for but you get your pound refunded when you get to the bar. The staff are great and you never have to stand around long before you are served. The food is good too. They have a nice little beer garden around the back and at the front it catches all the afternoon sun as you watch the world go by. We love it.

Need to pay to use car park. 12 year old daughter not allowed in pub. Unwelcoming bar staff. Pint of Harveys that tasted off. What a pub !

Probably the most vacant, miserable staff on earth. If they can't even pretend to be interested, get a job somewhere else. Saw the swarthy spiky haired one kicking crisp bags around the floor and then put them back into the box. A barman who thought half a lager shandy had to go into a pint glass. Long chat about half pint glasses. The quiz is the only reason for going there. Oh, and by the way, if you're a friend of the staff, not only will you be served first but you'll also be served under age. So if you're 17 and don't care where you drink, the Queen's Head is for you. Lush.

This is one fantastic pub. We only went here when our normal haunt suddenly turned 21s only. The Staff are nice and friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic, the music is just the right volume and genre. The decor is something else too, mismatched chairs left right and centre, very inviting. Only reason it doesn't get a 10 is that it's not the cheapest pub around.

Nice family pub. No trouble at all, you could take your nan there. Drinks slightly over priced as are all Queens Head's. Quiz night on a Sun is great fun for everyone. Atmosphere is friendly and people of all ages frequent. Loads of toilets, and car parking spaces as well as a small garden. Generally a nice pub strictly over 18s.
