The Slug and Lettuce, more like the Chav and Lettuce!

London West End prices in a local high street pub. Not bad inside but a bit impersonal. Doesn't feel like you are in Walton. Tries to be something it's not with bouncers at weekends. Toilets always seem to be flooded. Great food but not cheap.

Horrible place, went in for 1 drink on a recent pub crawl and immediately regretted it, bar staff aren't interested, place had no decent atmosphere, thankfully friends I met up with knew of a better wine bar nearby and they were right!

This isn't a wine bar, it's a social club. I don't think anyone in there is over 16, but then they would be the only one's that won't mind that the beer is overpriced and flat!

I go there for lunch with the girls from work....the food is good but the service needs to be much quicker!!

I wouldn't describe this place as a pub - no real ale for starters. On recent visits, anything on draft has been poor at best, which is especially disappointing given the extortionate prices. Why anyone would want to drink in here, when you have a wetherspoons around the corner is beyond me.

They do have Jazz evenings still - they had one last week and the next one is this monday coming - 22nd July

For Walton it makes quite a change but agree its full of 'trendy' people who ought to try just being themselves. A pity they dont still have Sunday night jazz!

Pfffffff, how can you call the "slug and lettuce" a "PUB" It's a fancy little wine bar for people who think they are dead posh, Usually hundreds of people spilling into the road on a busy night which is a pain in the arse as i drive past there often.

Better than most of the pubs in Walton. Pretty lively at weekends but still plenty of available seating. Beer was OK.

There are too many idiots in there on Friday and Saturday night. Fairly chilled out mid-week though. Beer is a bit bland though, as you would expect from a Slug and Lettuce. But the Cocktails can be fun.
