back in 1979 1980 this was the best pub in leighton bar none , as the current owner has had 3 pubs burn down around him i can guess who he is

This is a great pub it struggled while alex was in charge but now joe is back the beer is good and its somewhere you can feel safe i dont know who steve is but he sounds like a bit of a pompus idiot the way he,s slagged off most of the pubs in town all in all a sad little man.

I quite like this place. It's a bit rough, but only in a friendly sort of way. The beer's generally ok too.
I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, though...

WE LOVE THAT PUB. ITS THE BEST. THE OWNER IS NOT SCARY E'S NICE. HES CALLED DAVE. DRINK IS A TAD EXPENSIVE... BUT IM SURE WE WILL LIVE. GO JUKEBOX GO!

I disagree with the beating bit, but it is an odd place. The landlord is poosibly the unluckiest guy in the world. Three of his freeholds have burnt down!! Luckily he was insured !

Leighton Buzzard�s only really scary pub, this timber-framed thatched building appears to be collapsing around the owner�s ears. It may seem derelict from the outside but a closer look reveals the landlord and his cronies huddled in a pool of light at the back of the bar. Don�t ask me what beer they serve, as on my last visit (a while ago) I didn�t get as far as the bar before I was threatened with a beating. This was on Christmas Day!
