It's still boarded up, no news on a reopening?

This pub is geared mainly towards food, and often seems more like a restaurant than a local pub. Despite seeming cosy yet spacious from the outside, the modern decor leaves little to the imagination. As a result, the atmosphere, if existant, is tepid at best. The morons that have recently started to flock to this establishment to do little but glare at everyone they don't know remove the last remaining flakes of decency from what used to be good pub. Avoid at will.

Bumped into Ashley Cole outside here once, and thought I'd check it out. Overall 3/10. The atmosphere is full of chavs, I was hit on twice by some bisexual men, the drinks are expensive, the beers are oft warm, and the seats are made from balsa wood. Other than that service was good, toilets were pretty damn fine, and there are car parking facilities for those not wishing to drink.

Ought to be a lot better. Has all the hallmarks of a bland chain pub. Worth visiting for the view from the crossroads outside.

Drink in the friendly atmosphere signs are present outside... But Glued ordaments, Controlled lighting and music (which you can set your watch by), a variety of doors to the loo and outside, and fisher price "my first fireplaces" is things which bring us to the Bald Hind.
The beer garden is huge... if you an ant, and parking great... if you own an austin mini metro.
This does have a plasma telly on the wall... but never on and well hidden at all times from public. Find it and you win the Sukhwant and case of apple tango.

not much variety on the menu, always full of chavvy rich kids at weekends who take over the place, best to visit on an evening if you want a nice quiet drink

From afar this pub is a sight for sore eyes. Moving swiftly up the drive one can sense something special. Apon arrival sit back and admire this referbished, detailed palace for chat and binge. 2/10.

Nice pub, friendly service at lunchtimes. Food average but adequate. No children under 14 allowed unless in the 'garden' (3 bench seats on a terrace).

Nice food and nice drink. Price of drink tends to be on the steep side but a nice pub for meeting up wiv people. Staff are ok but take an age to serve u.

A well presented establishment with a good selection of beer and wine. Staff friendly and attentive. A very good menu, the food is excellent (be aware they stop serving food at 8pm - got caught out one night). The decor is attractive as they had a refurb about two years ago. Toilets 3 star. Overall I would give 7/10.
