Still crap - On our Friday night out there were about 10 people in till a hen party with an absolutely stunning girl in less clothes than an Ibiza stripper came in! this was the only bright spot of the visit, although the bouncers were friendly enough and told us that since we have been away the entire town has gone down the nick.

This place is one of the best night time spots in Hereford, there's a few things that let it down. The toilets are never pleasant and the DJ can't play any decent music, he is still stuck in the 80's.Boo hoo.

Gave this pub another visit after some chicken curry and chips from the infamous mr chips lol. The beer has improved slightly which is a good sign. Also went back there later on in the evening. The place was packed and the old cheese (Grease) was being played by the DJ. Ah well, cant have it all i spose.

I dont think this is a bad pub, one of the only ones in hereford that serves carlsberg, although it is usually warm. The DJ is a bit of a t**t, simply because you ask him to request a song, he mumbles something that resembles in a bit. A bit later, your song has not come on, ur p****d off with drinking warm beer, so you leave, simple as. Has good potential though.

The Kerry is a great pub to go to on a night out with a great atmosphere. The staff and management are very friendly and are always up for a laugh, they are quite often joining in with the dancing on a friday and saturday night! The DJ always entertains and adds to the atmosphere. Would recommend this pub for a good night out

I used to work in this pub back in 2004. Haven't rated it as i never really drank there cause i was working most the time. Nice atmosphere most of the time, upstairs bar had potential to be so much better than it was. Unfortunately most of the bar staff then were all a bit nasty and not that welcoming. There was a couple of girls who worked there who were ace though!!! The DJ then wasn't funny either. So if you used to work there or drink then when i was there mail me......who knows this EX-Kerry Girl might just remember you. LOL

Awful Pub. The recent refit has stripped away any of the charm of the kerry of 10 years ago or so. No seats anymore so you're huddled in a small bar which is trying so hard to look cool with its bland new paint job. The bar staff are attractive as the anon poster says but they also have the tendency to pop up on 'dodgy' mobile phone videos that pretty much every male in the city has seen - so you can tell the standards.

It's a popular pub I can't deny that but popular with what sort of people....

The DJisn't funny by the way, he's just annoying. Thinks he's funny with his over sized mic but half the time you cant hear a word he's saying as its all too muffled. He just sits there with "I'm amazing me" look on his face that 90% of club DJs seems to have.

Been once since the refit, never again.

The only recommendation comes via anonymous...AKA the management of the Kerry.
This is by far the worst pub in the town. Cheap and tacky decor, god awful music and a fight every 20 minutes or so. Combine shtis with steroid fuelled poofs on the door and you've got a truly awful concoction. Only to be sampled if you are under 16 and desperate to be served where you can listen to shit like the crazy frog.

Apart from its central location and proximity to the 2 biggest nightclub in Hereford, The Kerry has a lot going for it. After coming under new management the pub has had a full re-dec and has quickly become the number one night-time venue in the city. Apart from having some great drinks offers, a fantastic DJ (who happens to be very funny) and the sexiest female staff around, it seems that on a Saturday night all the staff seem to make a huge effort to dress up and join in with the pubs weekly theme night.

If coming to Hereford i would recommend this bar to anyone.

Mediocre drinks, rubbish atmosphere, a fight seems only an alcopop away.

If you find yourself drinking in here regularly seek professional help

Hereford has some dire pubs, but this one is in the worst 5. Populated by Britney Spears lookalikes who follow that strange Hereford practise of drinking alcopos through straws, and thats only the blokes. Walk by!!
