Lovely pub, good value and good pool tables. Would recommend! :)

Nice place for a lunchtime pint - the beer (Adnams) was good and so was the service.
Not tried it in the evening.

Still on the up. Now has two handpulls selling Bombardier and Adnams Broadside. Some lady friends were far from impressed with the Ladies loo to the right of the bar.
|
Selling Bombardier rather than London Pride at the moment, and on fine form too. The menu prices look to be very good value.

Have always found this pub friendly, and since the refurb and no-smoking ban, am happy to visit when I can.

Was pleasantly suprised by the change to this pub since the last time I bravely ventured in!
Nice decor, decent toilets, nice beer. They have revamped this place and still managed to leave some of the victorian features which is really nice.
Can't wait for the no smoking to start :-)
Some of the locals are a bit scary though.. . . . but a nice start to have a decent pub in north camp.

Now got real ale - london pride - if that sells well, there'll be a guest ale too!

well what can i say but fabulous, food great, great bar staff, nice and clean.with a brand new revamp--always been a favourite of mine.

The north camp has just re-opened after a refurb and change of company. We have a new manager and will be set up for the no smoking ban in the next couple of weeks, with an outside pool table, jumbrellas and outside heating and lighting. The bars are now light and airy, with new furniture and a total new look. We have reduced the number of indoor pool tables to 4, one of which is an american pool table. The toilets have been updated too! Food is available 12-8 7 days a week and theres a new menu. We have so far had 100% feedback from customers. Let us know what you think!

serious drinkers bar. a young chap was sick in his beer sat next to me. the pub looks more dangerous than it really is. toilets are a disgrace and would not look out of place in 19th century london. desperately needs a refurb

This is a good pub, people of all ages seem to come here. Designed for the sporty types as well as regular beer drinkers. Though confusion surrounds the pub quiz which i get the feeling isnt running at the moment
|
Has the quality of being a lively pub with an all-age mix. Bit of a lack of real ale but they do at least have a good Guinness.

Not a bad pub, VERY cheap drinks (think Weatherspoons prices) and good pool tables (1.20 a game). Can be rather loud and full of p*** heads most of the time. Not a place to take your missus for a quite drink. However if you're after a good drink with the lads, it's a good laugh.

i have worked in the north camp for 7 years and use it as my local. We actually have 5 pool tables, and have recently had a re-furb, making the interior a lot lighter and brighter. Saturday night karaoke night is a good evening out - a good laugh, when you're out with mates. The beer is VERY cheap, and have monthly special deals on a variety of drinks

It's a Mr Q's. Pretty big, with concrete 'beer garden' out the back. Lots of pool tables and an internet jukebox, but the staff keep turning the volume down or up at random.
Usually quite busy, but mercifully usually free of 'military personnel' unlike the Elephant & Castle next door.
