I have been to this bar on 2 occasions both times for lunch on a Saturday so can't comment on what it is like in the evening. The bar is open and comfortable, has pizzas being cooked in a traditional oven and table service. There is also a TV which is usually showing whatever sport is on. The waiting staff seem really friendly and for the 6.50 you pay for the lunch special (any 12" pizza and a drink) I don't think you can go far wrong.

Another refurb has been going on down here of late after some dodgy fire, apparently. Hope they had some insurance sorted...

Nice Pizzas but don't light a match whatever you do - all that hairspray and aftershave will blow 'em all to kingdom come.

I agree that it is full of young Chav type characters having drinking games, purile conversation and blokes eyeing one another up for a fight. Like a 'McDonalds' in the bar trade. At least 6 girls I saw in there drinking alcohol were under age. Not my type of place. The wine was good quality though.

Long overdue refurb nearing completion. Re-opens tomorrow 10th November.

This is a weird one.

With the stupid plastic chairs and zero thought for flooring, it feels like a community centre. It's usually pretty cold in there too. I quite liked having somewhere to dance and the inclusion of a large tv where they show films is definitely the best thing about this place.

Surprisingly enough, I found the doormen very polite which is a MAJOR factor in my book.

With a little more thought to seating and space constraints, this place would be better. Overall, you could do worse I guess.

OK place for a drink. Nice in summer if they open out the front. The staff are generally good, but beware some of the moron customers and essex slags.

Nice pizzas but otherwise it's a horrible soulless excuse for a pub. It was better as LAfferty's

Average beer and frequented Chelsea shirts (this is East London chaps..), but lots of good looking girls so worth a visit!

Nice bar, if a little pricey. Nice food, nice people and they show all the good football matches.

Shows all the football matches on Sky and gets quite lively most nights.

A trendy bar, frequented by the 18-30 age bracket of people who have moved on from the Cuckfields. They have a DJ in there playing house music on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a good starting point for those who later move on to places like The Rising Sun, Faces or maybe even O'neils. They also serve Pizza.
