Now a japanese restaurant, no great shame.

Oh, dear. No real ale served here. Went in on a sunday afternoon and it was empty. Only the jukebox with some decent heavy rock tracks saves this from getting 0/10.

Only place in Didsbury that isn't that busy on a friday/saturday evening.
That should say it all.

Rude inefficient staff, by no means reasonably priced drinks, sticky floors, dirty toilets - avoid unless you fancy a communicable disease, or to be offended.

full of mad staff with is quite entertaining a bit pricy though it is like we were down south espically with bombardier on tap

my girlfriend lost her coat here while we were up from London, visiting her sister. Her sister went in about a week later, and the staff had folded it up and put it safely away. The Cadbury's Creme Egg was still in the pocket!! GOod show, I say! (her sister ate the Creme Egg as a reward)

james and tracy are great managers. the atmosphere is nice and the staff are all friendly. it can be quite busy but you dont find much trouble or to many students!

Used to be a bit of a locals pub but is now a lot friendlier. I'd rather drink here than the Hogshead over the road, that's for sure.
