Oh my, what is going on here? Ive been to the Fawn and it nice and clean compare to most pubs I have visit, especially the toilets so clean and smell nice. I've been inside the kitchen and it is clean. I have eaten there and have recommended my friends to eat there. The lady that runs the pub has done very good job she turns the pub around by making sure everyone is welcome. Before it wasnt like that it was only the army guys go there.

Mark99 I can see you are very passionate re your local pub and I will agree with you it is a nice pub.

Knight: its true half the people that drink there is from the army they are a big supporter of the Fawn they claim its their pub even if they do not drink there. You have household cavalry & some of Victoria barracks drink there.

Knight I am not sure what happen when you went there, you must have done something to get told off and thats why you are bitter. But some of your comment might get you into trouble like ghetto, banana & coconut milk.

I am a big supporter of the Fawn and I will always be I felt at home being there and having good laugh with the guys from the army, especially playing pool with them. I do drink at a lot of different pubs but I felt more happier at the Fawn I can choose whatever tv channel I want to watch. What more would a customer want a feel of being in your own home.

Knight youre attacking me now but I wont go down to your level as I said before you got a chip on your shoulder now I can see why your mrs is cheating on you. You are the most stupid person that is around. Jealously are very bad and a can make you miserable old and ugly and thats how you look.

It is obvious you are racist calling the people bananas. Fawn is the best pub in town you are the only one finding fault and one person is nothing. I am in the British army what are you trying to say? Knight you are jealous because you got nothing and you are nobody no one wants to know you.

I feel the landlady should report you to the police. I am going to have a word with her about you.

Mark99 - 26 Sep 2009 08:38
The british army drink here? dont make me laugh our brave lads would not insult themselfs by drinking out of such a dirty third world pub with beers served by dirty filthy primates and Mark99 if i got a chip on my shoulder it probably come of them dirty filthy flea-ridden seats in there! i suggest you go sit on them and let the primate runners of that rat hole feed you some of there KFC and bananas!!! and wash it down with some coconut milk!
Knight - 24 Sep 2009 19:44
Kinght Knight you and your Mrs are foolish because you could not have your own way you think by coming on beer in the evening to discredit The Fawn to make yourself and your Mrs feel better. As Mark99 said the clientele are British Army and you offended the entire British Army, but hey we are happy with the pub and we are treated with respect here that's why we will always support the Fawn. Go and have shower because we could smell how stink you and your Mrs was.
jmc851 - 21 Sep 2009 14:38
This is for Knight, seems you got a chip on your shoulder why don't you take a long look at your ugly self before you start discrediting other people business.

The Fawn is the best pub in town nice people and nice food, I had breakfast there and it tease better than all the cafe I have been in.

It is obvious you got a problem, as you mention clientele horrifically intimidating we are the british army. What horrifically intimidating about us? As I said before The Fawn is the best pub in town and everyone loves it here. It's lost and the others that doesn't like the Fawn. You just jealous and bitter. Go get a life Knight and remember I know who you're!!!
Mark99 - 21 Sep 2009 14:17
This is not just a bad pub, it's a blot on another otherwise attractive landscape. The clientele are horrifically intimidating and unpleasant, the staff are Horrible.straight from a Ghetto Absolutely unwelcoming and with an air of bored menace at the best of times, this pub attracts the very worst of the locals. It's like flies around...well you know... And not even nice flies - irritating, bloated obnoxious flies. Inside is cramped, aggressive and with that all pervaying air of boredom and menace. There are a few regulars who seem to spend most of their lives here and are seemingly perpetually hammered. I don't blame them, I'd need to be utterly intoxicated to spend any time at all in there, let alone my entire waking existence. my mrs and i had a breakfast there and it was straight out of icelands value selection and stale YUCK! I know them people love there KFC Chicken but come on! thanks to the smoking ban - the regulars crawl out onto the foreground, and prove a hideous spectacle in an otherwise lovely area.if you like cheap greezy iceland food and warm stale murky beer well this place is for you They should knock this pub down and turn it into a marshy pond - most of the regulars would feel quite at home there.and the owners and staff in the jungle with the trees and bananas!

I haven't been on this site for a while busy working away but it is good to be back in Windsor things seems to be the same ,miss some of the old faces, but I am looking forward to Thursday 18th June 09 for the stripper night.

You are right about the breakfast good value for money and I have notice the beers & spirits are reduced from 11am to 3pm to 2.50. Ill surely pop in for the cheaper beer when I am not working it is nice to see some pubs realised times are hard and reduced price to keep us coming in. Keep the good work up
jmc851 - 17 Jun 2009 07:55
I pop in the Fawn for bite and they do lovely breakfast and value for money only 3.50. I think you all should try it. The Fawn is still the same nice place to relax and have a good laugh. Keep it up.

Captainmorgan, The lady that run the pub is not from Africa seems you need a course on different culture. The Fawn is a lovely pub you can go there and be yourself the toilets are clean the place is clean people friendly and I remember that night very clearly, your friend wife was rude to one of the army guy. He told her to stop throwing the pool que on the floor if it's broke they won't have anything to play with. Your friend start the fight he did not like the fact someone from the army speak to his wife. No one is a Chav's not because you might have a little more money than others doesn't mean you should put people down. Next time take a long hard look in the mirror at yourself before you start calling other's chav's.
jmc851 - 16 Mar 2009 11:38
This is for CaptainMorgan, The Fawn doesn't run my African's not because they are black they are from Africa get your story right. You should know better not to call someone a Chav; these people you refere to as Chav they fight for your country. They are in the army they were only protecting the pool stick from being damage by your friends. If you can not add good comment to anyone pub do not add any. It seems you have too much free time on your hand why don't you do some voluntary work to make society a better place since you feel everyone is a Chav. Peace out.
garsim - 16 Mar 2009 11:22
African run pub with a good selection of beers but if visiting BEWARE!Chavs hang out here and they do bite! dont go near the pool table the fight that happend last friday see one chav being carried off

I've visit the Fawn few times and the hospitality is nice there. Personally speaking I feel I can be myself without anyone watching or turning up their nose. The staff are lovely very friendly and helpful making sure you get a taxi home. I choose to use this pub more because of the warm feeling and it does make me feel I am at home.
Mark99 - 29 Jul 2008 14:30
Sunday roasts aren't bad, They've a 3 big screen in there. They've got a cash point and chip & pin this is a good idea save you from going into town.
jmc851 - 29 Jul 2008 14:17

jmc851 - 24 Jul 2008 23:01
Whether its a fancy dress night, 'krazy' karaoke, or just the cheerful service from the lovely barmaids - The Fawn is a pleasant pub with something for everyone!
RuBear - 24 Jul 2008 22:24
The Fawn is the only pub to drop by if you're in the mood for good old fashioned harmless, clean fun. With the crazy but a incredibly cheerful barstaff, to the mix of locals and visitors alike - The Fawn really is a pub at the heart of Windor.
Check it out!!
michelle75 - 24 Jul 2008 21:02

michelle75 - 24 Jul 2008 12:27
Nice pub very friendly with lots of fancy dressing events, you don't need a friend to a company you at the Fawn. Everyone speaks to you and the staff are friendly. Down side the car park is small but other wised it is a nice pub to be in.
garsim - 23 Jul 2008 19:49
Very local feel to this pub but still not at all threatening. Pleasant enough and friendly staff.
capitanpugwash - 19 Jan 2006 00:22
Visited very briefly on a Friday afternoon, had the usual range of beers but surprisingly no draft 'real ale' (had two pump clips turned round)asked Barman if any bitter was going to be put on he replied that the only bitter available was Tetley's. Pub okay and interior clean, car park is a bit tight though.
