been here a few times, like what the town has to offer, recently enjoyed live music here, friday nights seem to be the busy night!

Quite a small pub. Not sure it ever gets much life here.

Quite an odd place. Not sure why though. Godalming just has such old, small places, they create an eerie atmosphere.

Seemed a bit weird, as I remember or maybe it was the fact I was probably drunk.

Great night out, No trouble and the staff were all smiling, dancing behind the bar, very rare these days.
We made the most of the happy hour cocktails and then had a good boogie till 2am!

I have never smoked was in here for 15mins done a packet of 20 and didn`t buy one.Say no more, nudge- nudge.

Was ok, seemed to be very busy, but it should be non smoking cus its tiny and gets really stuffy. Didnt play great music just 80s and more 80s

Rude woman working there. I ordered a sandwich which came without the main ingredient I ordered it for which was on the menu. I asked where it was and she said they hadn't served it with that for ages (as if I was supposed to know what it used to be like?!).

Poncey, pretentious, too small and too expensive.
Full of idiots dragging around after tarted up chav birds under the illusion that they're somehow classy.
Most of them thicker than their makeup.
I may as well turn the lights down and music up in my own front room.
The place has bouncers for pete's sake. They'd have to throw me in.

Agree with most reviews on here. Lively although not overbearing, good decor, funkyish music although door staff seem just a touch rude at the weekends.
Definetly worth a visit on a week night or get in there early on a weekend

One of the better places in the town, though much more enjoyable during the week, as weekends are just too busy for such a small venue.

Gave it a very quick visit, seems quite a lively place. Does seem to be decorated in a very eccentric style, with plenty of candles and some unusual lighting

Nice atmosphere, great music, excellent happy hour (soon to be banned?). This is the best place in Godalming to have a chilled out drink.

Quite smooth and slick looking during the week but do we really need several overtly officious doormen/woman for such a tiny place at the weekends when the atmosphere is otherwise so pleasantly benign ?
