I do agree that this is a great pub, and I will definitely go here again, however, DO NOT PAY BY CARD! They copied my card and started making fraudlant payments through my account.

Strange that the 'Chocolate Breakfast' includes either tea or coffee but not hot chocolate, which is also on the menu.

If this bar was anymore laid back it would be in a coffin. Great location on an original Soho backstreet, far away enough to take a break from the bustle but near enough so you can get back to it in five minutes flat. Right between Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus it's a real find. Wine list is terrific and the staff are fabulous. It's getting busier every time I go in so if you fancy that early evening drink with friends you should book a table. It can get very crowded but it buzzes on Friday and Saturday nights. Very eclectic music policy and great food as well.

Nice clientele, house red and white=12 a bottle (is that good value, I have no idea). Cocktails seem a bit pricey considering the competition that's around, food looked ok (didn't have any but am nosey) but portions seemed a bit small for the prices I reckon. Still, a good place to hang out without a doubt.

Great for meeting up with friends for a get-together after work or before heading to some of the nearby clubs.

Friendly staff, reasonably prices.

Ideal for afternoon coffee or early evening drink. Not too awful if the latter stretched out until closing time. Nicely tucked away on d'Arblay st in one of the more original areas of Soho (rag-trade, ironmongers and indie record shops, rather than ad/media companies). Cool without trying too hard to be.

the place is very cool, what's more it suits any time of the day, the perfect balance between london pub and paris cafe..tubbygrud, cameron diaz is not bad, but I spotted gareth from the office there, how about that??

Agree with Warren. It is cramped and filthy. Add smoky and noisy to that. Food ok, if a tad greasy. However, it's trendy and apparently Cameron Diaz was once spotted sitting outside at the pavement tables (in summer). No doubt soaking in the traffic fumes and general Soho atmosphere...hmmm.

It s my favourite place in London, I am from Paris and even in Paris you can not find scuh a cool place to relax and chill with friends or alone...

Did i miss something? I read great reviews of this place and was sorely disappointed. The place was cramped, filthy and the "table service" was abysmal. Once we did finally get served it was generic overpriced lager served in a dirty glass by a miserable waitress!

Very relaxed, battered old leather sofas, and you can read one of the books on their bookshelf if your friends are late. You can also book a table... Food is good, wine is good, not too expensive.
