This is a complete dump that charges 4 for a single blended scotch and assumes you want your whiskey drowned in ice. No thanks.

What a lovely little gem! Went on Thursday night and it was so chilled and friendly with good tunes, a nice mix of people and the chucked together furniture gives it a lovely cosy and studenty feel. Cant wait to go back.

Had my leaving party here last week. Wicked time, cool music and friendly. Highly recommend!

this pub is completeley over-rated. the toilets were like a paddling pool last night - and you don't want to know what sort of things friends saw in the ladies toilet. but the cocktails were nice

Nice enough but don't see what the big deal is.

It's a good bar with good cocktails and a well though out vibe, but to say, as below, that it's "the only decent excuse for going drinking in North London" is ill-considered. I would suggest going to some of the outstanding N1 bars and pubs which are not on Upper Street/Essex Road, not to mention the rich pub environs of Hampstead, Primrose Hill, Highbury and Highgate, before arriving at such a verdict. As for being reminiscent of bars in NYC, finding a bar in NYC (ie Manhattan rather than Brooklyn) with "comfy seating" and a "decent pint" can be challenging to say the least.

The warwick is definitely not like any of the horrid pikey chains that can be found elsewhere in Islington.

Damn fine cocktails and possibly the best, most diverse music selection around.

Check the place out on a sunday...very chilled and if you're lucky you can hear copious amounts of Prince...BIG PLUS

Well over 5000 pubs and bars in our great capital and The Warwick is the 'best bar in London'?? I think that might be overstating matters somewhat. It's very good - nicer than any Upper Street chain hell-hole - but lets get things in perspective.

Perfect for an intimate tete-a-tete in the week or a big one at the weekend. The DJ mix is excellent, the staff are gorgeous, they've just got Baltica on tap and the lageritas are ferocious...

By far the best thing to ever happen to Islington. The Warwick is the only decent excuse for going drinking in North London...

This is a great addition to a stale drinking area, It reminds me of the bars I go to in New York, Great jukebox, Compfy seating, A decent pint, The best cocktails, Friendly staff and DJs who know what there doing, One hell of a sexy place

Been here a few times now as is quite close to my flat, all i can say is a big well done. Its a well comfy venue for day and night and surly has the best music policy in Islington.

Welcome to the best bar in London. Well done to Dan and Sarah for coming up with a fresh way to run a bar. Not only are the bar staff the best, the cocktails are ingenious and all to a soundtrack of the most talented djs around. Overlook this place and you are seriously missing out.

The Warwick is a wonderful bar - particularly for the fantastic music and cocktails.
