What I imagine a dive bar in Bucharest is like.
2/10 purely for the bizarreness of it all.

This place is basically what you would expect from a town centre pub that is full of plasma screens, plays loud music and has four pool tables. Even the four or five booths in the main bar section have little screens in them. There is a separate room at the back which is a bit quieter and there are a two table football games in there. There is also a small DJ box in a corner next to some tables and chairs that look like they are moved on a weekend night to unveil a wooden dance floor.
The barman was nice enough and Staropramen was available along with the usual suspects. The food seemed very cheap, but nobody was eating any during my visit.
There are some picnic tables located out the front that is separated from the busy main road junction by some railings.
I think that I will leave this place to the younger Fosters swigging crowd in future.

full of local chavs and wannabe gangsters, top place for a weekend fight as evidenced by the regular visits of Her Majesty's finest. Great place if you call yourself a 'soulja'...

True that there can be a fair few foreigners but on a saturday night the entertainment is excellent and the atmosphere always lively yet friendly.

This pub is now an absolute dive, filthy dirty from the outside and no better on the in. If you speak English then dont bother drinking in here always full of eastern europeans. What use to be a great pub is now a dive.

friday night is great in the masons and saturday and sunday (with dj grim on the decks)!
there is also a really great new chef called darling!
and there is a proper fit girl called gemma who is always in there.
they also have wifi for free now if you buy a drink.
not that we are bias in any way shape or form but this is the best pub in the world!

this pub is really getting good the new dj on sunday night really rocks.

went there saturday, it was baking hot inside. got asked for i.d by 18 year old (i'm 25) serving. has a a lot of friendly foreigners and also a few chavs. has many pool tables for the guys and sofa/bench seats facing each other for the girls. didn't feel threaten at all despite it's image. the garden is at the front and is made of concrete.

Big Pub, used to be quite racist, but seems to have been sorted out by new landlord, friendly staff & great music on fri & sat nites. Good for sports with huge screens & loads of pool tables. Well looked after & clean, car park a bit on the small side and my mate gets the hump over rule on no baseball caps, but overall definatley my fave place to go in Edgware.

last time i was in here on a sat aft, i kept getting accosted by some junkie bird. Rough as sandpaper.

Its such a great pub to have a quiet drink, a meal or go for a full blown night out. It's got such a great atmosphere and friendly staff, the interior is really modern with big screens, loads of pool tables and a great music system. Altogether really good fun to drink and be in.
