Clearly the best place to go in lux. not only after work but also on the we to get warmed up for the clubs...nice bar staff, very good atmosphere and the best pub-owner in the world! we had great parties on fridays and saturdays, sometimes even during the week.

People speak English, it's open late and the DJ played Jungle Boogie. Spiral staircase is interesting at 3am

It's being refurbished at the moment. A bit dead on the winter months not too bad in the summer.
Regular DJ looks is a Martin Clunes "lookalikey"

Top place to be, bar staff are very friendly and there is a party atmosphere in the place unlike Urban up the road which is full of boring plastic posh people who think they have the right to turn there nose up at you.

narrow spiral staircases to the toilets are a bad idea.

It's a good place for visting English speakers - small and friendly, but gets crowded at the weekend. Often have great music ;o)
