This pub is now permanently closed awaiting demolition, along with the adjacent half burnt down Burger King, to make way for a residential development.

Appears to be closed and undergoing major renovation.

OK if you like pubs like this- purpose built no character.
A few punters had had a drop to many early last Saturday evening.
A TV was on with Sky News showing and they also have a dart board.
3 Hand pulls for Banks’s Mild, Hobgoblin and Vale Brill Ale.
I had a pint of the latter for £2.90 which was OK.

Absolutely typical MK out of town boozer. 3 ales on sale but I got Hobgoblin which is not to my taste. Only remarkable bit here was that 40 years ago it would have been a cow field where young milk maids got their reputations ruined up against the old, Oak tree. Alright and I suppose some people have to call it their local but not my choice - ok en route to the footie at the Library Stadium MK.

This pub once again welcomed our group before and after the game on Saturday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, with 2 meals for 9. We had the pie and chips, which were home made and tasty.

They do not have Sky TV, but do have small TV's showing freeView Channels.

definately one of the better pubs in the area.

Was in here with the rest of the lads before watching our team, Hartlepool, play against MK. Very cheap drinks and they tasted fine as well. Large pub that also sells food and has a good sized beer garden. The staff had no problems with us displaying our flag in the grounds neither.

Service was slower than we would have liked but this could be because a few of us had arrived off the same train and the 2 staff were trying to serve us all at once. The staff were pleasant though and I was talking to the landlord after the game, when he was drinking in 'The Park', he seemed a decent fella. Would reccommend this place to other fans visiting, although it is not a typical match-day pub and may be better suited to families travelling to the game.

Dear Readers
Just to update you on this pub. This pub is under new management from 2006 so the negative comments posted in 2005 DO NOT APPLY to new management. You will find people to be well mannered and friendly here. There are also plans to have more entertainment. Watch this space. GM.

Nice interior, three real ales all tasted good. On a sunny saturday afternoon there were alot of people eating outside, unfortunately nobody seemed to clear any tables. They might just have been short staffed, i will give it a go again

Its not bad, staff a little slow to react, but beer seems to be of a fair quality, I would go again, but wouldnt keep as a regular as there isnt enough in the way of entertainment. Worth a look, but other pubs do seem to come out slightly better.

This pub has a lovely interior, and most staff are friendly and helpful, however there is one male member of staff in there who is very rude, and unfortunately has put me off going to the pub now. As soon as we waked in (I'm talking about straight away) he demanded we buy drinks, before we'd even had a chance to put our heavy bags down. All of us bought drinks apart from my two friends- who decided they wern't thirsty just yet- they were told to "get the hell out" and the man in question started ranting about what would happen if he came and sat down in our living room. I made the comment to my friend that it wasn't very friendly in there- my words were "It's not very friendly in here is it" to which he promptly told me to "drink my drink up and get the hell out too". Obviously freedo of speech and opinion isn't allowed in this particular pub. This is a true story, based on fact, and I am not saying anything other than I will leave it up to the readers of this forum as to whether they choose to visit this pub, as I will never be setting foot inside the place again.

you will find a nice friendly atmosphere at the enigma and most of the staff are really friendly .. though there is one man who serves sometimes and he is quite miserable. they have a decent pint of guiness, though i find them quite expensive for where they are situated (cheaper boozers locally)
