More of a bar than a pub and that's reflected in the prices. Two ale taps although one was out of action. A Kent ale on the other at 3.90 for a pint. Staff pleasant enough, music far too loud. Really, it's the type of place you'd have a work do rather than go out with mates and it did seem to be filled by an office crowd.

This is a modern bar with Broadside as a token ale offering and San Miguel as the premium lager alongside a standard draught selection.

There are high tables and sofas, but it is easy to get comfortable and I found the staff to be very pleasant.

This is the sort of place that I would end up in on a work do organised by a woman and I would moan, but probably enjoy myself once I was there. I would still gripe about the tinny speakers and this would make me disappointed if I had hired the place out as many of the advertisements about the place invite me to do.

A great location now the sun's here with two outside areas so you can always sit in the sun. Given it's in the heart of the west end, it wasn't over-priced and the food platters in the evening are supberb.

Really like this place. Hard to find a sensibly priced pint in this area but you can here. Good food and really quick service even when it's packed on a friday night.

Nice pub, very good food and good selection of drinks.

The service on our visit was a little slow with one poor member of bar staff servicing everybody and four people in the kitchen.

Really good to find somewhere like this after looking for a decent post work pint venue for a while. Very cosy & attractive interior as well as reasonably priced drinks make it a winner.

Have had a number of great evenings here. Staff always seem happy & efficient. Tables always clean and tidy. have only eaten once but food was tasty and well presented with some original specials on offer. Would recommend for sure!

Enjoyed a great Thursday night in Union with friends. Fab party venue and its open till 12:00! Would recommend to anyone wanting a fun night out at the end of week after a dull day in the office.

Nice trendy and cosy bar! Shame we didn't find more like this around the area.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Karlin and her great staff for making us so welcome.
This is the best place by far in the area, the food is great, and the range of beers and wines are hard to beat.
Look forward in coming back, A must for anyone

I have been frequenting Union with work friends for last 9 months, food has improved greatly over the last 3 months, probably one of the best in the area- staff are great - too many boozy evenings which we from which we always intend to leave early, but some how don't.

This really isn't a bad pub. It has real beer, good wine and a variety of lagers.
We come here every Monday and they do pay attention to their regulars. It may look a bit too much like a WB for comfort but it doesn't have a TV blaring and they do remember you if you come more than a couple of time.
Not the perfect pub but it punches above its weight in central London.

Sorry but this place doesn't cut it for me. I have been a number of times with colleagues when working in Baker St and each time has not been a good experience. The food is rubbish and seems to come from some little store cupboard in the corner of the bar, the toilets are often disusting ( Gents) and they dont seem to know what they are doing with the room downstairs. Is it a bar or not? I think its all been done on the cheap to look like an All Bar One and thats not exactly cool is it? Wines are OK though and not your usual Blossom Hill crap.
There are much better bars in the area and I for one avoid it like a pavement pizza.

Went here for a couple of drinks and a game of pool after work about a month ago. Bad news folks... The pool table is no more. Disaster!

Anywho, the decor's trendy but cosy, there's good music, the food was absolutely gorgeous, there's outside seating to the front and rear (roll on Summer!)and a function room downstairs.

Very nice.

best place to spend your weekday evenings around baker street if you're not ready to a] venture out to a club or b] your plan is to eat first, and then party - union is modern enough to have a good beer & premium spirit selection and serves up solid gastro pub style food. bar staff are friendly, lively and fun.

A bit too chorizo and rocket for my liking. What happened to dry roasted peanuts? Not everyone likes olives you know.

And FULL of accountants. Bloody auditors.

Still a pretty good place though.

recently refurbished and has turned from drab boozer into gorgeous gastro bar. fantastic food with reasonable prices [you can tell the GM enjoys quality fare as she will sometimes take over the kitchen and work her magic there] they have an extra function room downstairs with pool table and separate bar - perfect for parties which they will prepare for you stress-free. highly recommended.

Ignore the previous comments about this pub. It's been under new management since the beginning of 2004 and has been transformed.
Friendly, courteous landlord has done wonders. Good beer, nice food.
As I use this pub pretty much every Monday I can see the improvement taking hold.

Quite a nice atmosphere, but too often the advertised beers are shown as 'back soon': in reality that seems never!

Nice neighborhood pub just off of Baker St. Quiz night every Tuesday and ladies night (2 for 1 cocktails) every Thursday. Sports on the tele and real cask ales behind the bar. Serving John Smiths is a plus in my book. Great for a pint on the way home.
