I have just been back to this place after the summer away.
What a change has happened !!!
Pub has been cleaned even the toilets had a lick of paint !!
2 new 7ft screens for sports plus TV's behind the bar, main bar all the draught is now extra cold, cask beer on, some very fit barmaids now work here.
Something going on every night of the week. Poker, Quiz,Talent contest the list goes on
The New Manager seem nice enough too - makes a change for here.

Best of all Monday & Wednesday Night after 7pm Carling, Fosters, Bud & John Smiths only 1.85 a pint - That's cheaper than the club next door

Looking forward now to a great year

Very busy pub with a mix of students and locals, lots of pool tables and tvs which has tainted the pub a little in my opinion. Still, its nice to see a back street pub doing well in difficuly times. I read in the local paper this is the biggest pub in leeds, dony know if its true

My old local and one that I miss greatly...I'm looking forward to going back there this weekend and playing pool until my arms ache, GIANT jenga and drinking ridiculously cheap beer. I wish there were a pub this fun in London...

The beer's not great, and the pub itself seems to be a jack of all trades master of none type affair, but it's not a bad bar. Literally does everything a bar could be expected to do, from pool and darts to quiz machines, big screen football, outdoor seating and a wide range of rock and metal bands playing in it's basement, The Royal Park certainly serves it's purpose as a no-nonsense pub that, occasionally dodgy pint aside, does a fair job.

Perfect for watching the football and meeting large groups of friends. The pub is located in a residential area, which is a bonus!

What Richard said. Except take away the pricey comment and exchange it with 1.30/1.40 for the cheapest pints and it's happy days for the drinker on a budget.
