this pub would of been great if that barman stuart was still there he should of been the mangement he would of change this place he had a lot of great ideas how to change it for the better but no one listen to him he was very smart and he new what he was talking about i drunk in this pub for years in the pass very upset to see it shut but .........

Was in here Saturday for the skinhead Reggae ,ska do.A really good night, bit quiet but a good un.The barstaff are superb, friendly and the prices even friendlier.This place is a massive old type pub, with 2 bars and a large function room. The Music was good, especially the fella that was on last playing a lot of Northern Soul.

only been down this pub to go to the scooterist nights they have down there in the function hall about every 6 weeks. Would recormend it if you like motown, northern soul, mod and 60s music allways a good night, good beer freindly staff. to find out when the next one is call 07903278575.

Used to drink in this pub alot but since the old govnor moved out, it has went down hill. the end bar is infested with pikies who always start trouble. take my advice and stay well clear

This pub has nothing to attract people from outside the immediate area to it, not even any real ale. It is clean and tidy, nevertheless and the main clientele are regular locals.
