Very nice pub in every way-recommended.

I think it's probably under a new new management as I saw nothing of the spanish theme the previous commenter mentions.

It was refurbished, bright and airy with a wonderfully warm and friendly landlady who took the time to say hello and remember personal details etc.

The garden has been redone asd is great for the kids with a climbing frame, massive swings, and slide etc.

Now a really great summer day pub

This now seems to be under the ownership or management of a hilarious and convivial Spanish gentleman. The restaurant half is dedicated to the culinary delights of Iberia, complete with piped flamenco music.

The main bar is a see of red and yellow, with Spanish maps adorning the walls. Go there for a giggle or a bit of decent tapas but don't expect much real ale other than IPA or Abbot.

Quite bizarre.

The Pub really seams to be improving they had a fantastic family fun day at the start of August and they are doing a Crazy Golf Day on the bank holiday weekend. Well worth a trip to!

Much improved since change of management. A young team with progressive ideas and a desire to give excellent service and value.
The menu seems to contain a varied selection of freshly cooked food, with one or two 'specials of the day' usually available.
A good sized Dining Room, cheerful service and very reasonable prices, added to that the BEER'S good.
Not much more I can say, apart from we always look forward to our next visit.

I'd like to give this pub a better score as it's changed hands recently and they seem to be giving it a go by offering more of the GK guest and seasonal beers alongside the usual IPA. However, the pint I had wasn't great.

Will go back again soon though as they deserve support.

Has just been taken over by somebody who finally cares about the pub and the village!
Great home cooked food very reasonably priced and they look after their beer too!
Has a well kept garden which is ideal for families

Made my second visit here last night, almost a year to date after my previous one. My initial opinion has been reinforced - Environment, food and service are very good but the beer needs more attention.

Went here for lunch with my Mum and her Husband who have recently moved to the village and was impressed by the service and the food (steak and beer pie was outstanding). The decor was clean and reasonably cosy if a little on the clinical side. Prices weren't that great but the food at least was great value, sadly the beer was not so. This like so many other pubs in Suffolk and now days far beyond is a Greene King house, so the first distinctly iffy pint of IPA that I received is inexcusable. The second (after a swift barrel change) was better but considering the proximity to the HQ of Greene King it was profoundly disappointing that I regularly get a far better pint back home in North London than I got here.
To sumarise - Nice place to go for lunch, avoid for any kind of drinking session.
