Another classic looking pub - nothing remarkable but friendly welcome and typical pub interior.

Bass in fine condition.

Another friendly Burton on Trent pub. Nothing special just comfortable and a good range of mainstream ales. The Bass was OK,but one doesnot expect too much from Bass nowadays. Theskstons Old Peculier very well kept considering it is some way from home. Before you catch the train good place to visit.

Decent enough boozer with draft Bass, always a god reason for going into a pub

Was speaking to the landlord of this boozer in the Devonshire Arms (lovely boozer) what a nice bloke. As the Roebuck is right by the station thought I`d pop in. It`s a community type pub, juke box, sport, real ales. Unspectacular but worth popping into for a couple before getting the rattler.

Pedigree, Abbott, Directors. What is this - JDW? Come on, try a bit harder, and while you're at it have a word with the "Don't worry, we're all ignorant" crowd hanging around the bar. Yes, you are.

The beer was okay and the place was busy early on a Saturday evening so they must be doing something right but there are much better pubs nearby.

A new entry for Burton in the GBG but it isn't a patch on the others. Abit of a throughother kind of pub nothing particularly great about it and the ale I treid (a Wychwood seasonal brew) was a struggle to drink. Certainly not worth leaving the Devonshire or Coopers for.

Friendly traditional pub which serves a mean pint of the very hard to find Ind Coope Burton Ale as well as Draught Bass, Pedigree, Abbot and guests. Handy for the station and opposite what was the Ind Coope brewery.

Had no problems here. The ale choice is pretty good. There is that chain pub feel though. 7/10

OK place - but a bit lifeless. Standard chain pub.

The pub feels likes its trying to be modern and old fashioned at the same time without achieving either.

Beer choices are usually Pedi, Bass or Abbott.
