Traditional Yorkshire town pub.

Several rooms so you chose where to be comfortable and enjoy Sam Smith's Cask OBB at 2 pounds a pint.
At that price can't go wrong.

pub#4 on our festive #beertrip. large Sam Smiths pub located in the shopping area. Hobsons choice of Old Brewery bitter - but its a great beer and at £1.93 whats not to like. Pub is an traditional pub, well kept, and without and frivolities

Second pub on my recent visit over the border. Nothing wrong with the extra stout sampled. One end of the pub had a rowdy group and by contrast, the people on the other end where I was sat, looked like they were ready to slash their wrists!

Peculiar pub it has to be said.

Old fashioned Smiths boozer, very quiet when i called in. Drank a couple of their stouts and wasn't bothered by anybody. Very acceptable i must say!

True Sammies pub with very good OBB , £1.80 pint. The pub had different rooms, the room we were in had a collection of glass bottles and jugs in a cabinet. Eclectic mix of characters in there, good craic.

This used to be my local, been going there since 1970, 40 years on and off, seen many changes. Samuel Smiths is still family owned hence the cheaper price compared to others in the area. I now live in Turkey but will be over this coming xmas, oh for a good real ale drink
