Not quite - it was CLOSED four years ago, it was only recently demolished and the flats built on the site.

Another one bites the dust! Originally planning permission was refused on "community" grounds then, I guess, it's pass the brown envelope time and "presto" it's going to be an old folks home. I can't see ale drinkers missing it much but it is another part of Mill Hill that will be gone forever.

Tried the IPA. Wow! Completely off (vinegar) I can understand a barrel running low but this shows that the ales are not properly kept. The London Pride was also a struggle to drink.

Was surprised to find Landlord and Stones bitter when I visited on Saturday evening. Have had better pints of Landlord, but anyway...
Perfectly acceptable place but nothing to bring it above the ordinary.

Pride that was a struggle to drink, poor layout, slashed seats (and fares - a Paul Weller moment creeping in). A mistake to give it another try - will try to learn my lesson and not make a return visit.

ok pub but wouldn't make a special outing for it.

The ales aren't up to much. The staff are ok but it just lacks a little atmosphere. I think as a Public House it has lost it's way a bit like so many around here. Still I had a pleasant enough time.

Was obviously once an Ember Inns pub, but isn't any more.
Friendly bar staff and okay inside, but for ale drinkers, it isn't great.

Nonedescript establishment rumoured to be going under a proposed residential development. I don't think anyone will notice.

This isnt the most exciting pub, much like the ale selection of London Pride and Greene King IPA. There is also a selection of generic draught available and I found the staff to be very friendly.

The pub is big and lacks any character, although there is a nice sized garden out the back that would be nice on a summers day.

Maybe I would go back if they could get some more imaginative ales on the two unused hand pumps.

Chain pub, but better than most of that ilk. Staff are friendly, beer is OK and the quiz nights are fantastic!!

Large modern style pub. No music, no TVs, and has non-smoking areas, but manages all of this without turning into a soul-less Wetherspoon style hellhole. Always has a decent range of ales on the hand pumps. Nice garden out the back (though what is with the chairs being cemented into the ground?). Not somewhere for a big night out, but a very comfortable place to come for a few pints after work.

nice quiet modernised pub, good selection of lagers and bitters/ales friendly staff, food not bad, no tv's, pool tables or juke boxes. back ground music, no smoking area, big beer garden for summer months, open till midnight fri & sat. all types of people mix young and old. only moan toilets upstairs, but they do have disabled toilet on ground level, wheelchair friendly.

Full of teachers from the local primary school moaning about the little shits they have had to teach all day.

Safe, quiet, easy drinking pub. Is pretty big, plenty of seating, non smoking area, big garden area. Somewhat sterile and lacking in atmosphere but fine for a couple of beers if you're in the area. Have guest lagers that change every month or so. Sapporro and Coors on draught when I've been in. Real ales have the cask quality certificate on them so must be decent quality. Decent menu by the looks of it but not a gastro pub by any stretch. Will probably get busier as there's a posh new housing development and a Waitrose gone up nearby.

Seems like an inoffensive pub - I went there yesterday evening (August Bank Holiday Monday) for a light bite to eat and a couple of drinks with a friend who lives nearby. As it had been a long weekend there was a lot of food off the menu - beer was good and the staff were very friendly, however the atmosphere was somewhat lacking and the decor seemed sanitised like a lot of these newer pub chains. Apparently, they have two quiz nights a week, so it may be worth checking out, if that rings your bell.

nice pub, friendly staff, occasional live bands or theme nights and 2 quiz nights one of which is free, friendly bar staff, not noisey, typical ember inns decor, carling 2.20, down side is not enough women
