Quite a smart Sheps pub, with a petanque pitch.

this pub is friendly enough, and its a good venue for music on a sat night, and its far enough away from the town centre to not get any trouble. had a nice pint in there too

Decent community pub that has some money spent on it recently and which looks reasonably smart. Both Spitfire and Masterbrew were on, and the latter was on top form. Didn't care for the dog much (although I am not clear whether it was a customer's or belonged to the pub), but the covered outdoor area at the front was a good spot to watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon.

full of hospital people most nights from the accommodation across the green. lovely little place for a pint, though they never have spitfire on handpump preferring the more bland masterbrew.
